Yosemite by daylight is inspiring, but seeing the Valley in an entirely new and magical light during the Moonlight Tour is exhilarating. Following the same route as the Valley Floor Tour, participants ride in an open-air tram under the glow of a full moon. These two hour, latenight tours take place on full-moon nights. You will see Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome and El Capitan by moonlight, as well as many other breathtaking areas.
Departure times vary based on moon-rise. Times and dates are listed in the Yosemite Today or at the Tour & Activity Desks. Tour depart from Yosemite Lodge at the Falls (Shuttle Stop 8).
